Hotel Indigo Detroit
The Hotel Indigo Detroit project transformed an urban hotel, originally a mid-century motor lodge, into a modern boutique hotel. The property is located at the crossroads of two of Detroit’s largest radial streets in the heart of Downtown Detroit. Kraemer Design Group provided architectural, interior design, graphic design and branding services. Central to the rebranding concept, references to the heyday of Detroit music and soul are combined with the mid-century modern aesthetic. The guestrooms received a complete refresh with custom designed case goods, new minimalistic furniture, and replacement finishes that incorporate the musical theme.
