Shayla earned her degree in Retail Marketing and Management from Johnson & Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island. With more than 20 years of experience in administrative roles, including several years within the architecture and design industry, she brings a strong background in operations and project coordination. A Michigan native, Shayla is passionate about contributing to Detroit’s continued revitalization and supporting the growth of its surrounding communities.
Shayla truly enjoys the design process and is fascinated by the transformation of our projects. The before and after never ceases to amaze her.
When she’s not working or shuttling her two children from one activity to the next, Shayla enjoys cooking and spending time in her garden—especially tending to her beloved peonies and hydrangeas.
