Why Design?

Feeling lost in a windowless college research lab mixing test tube chemicals, I remembered a childhood vacation to the airy spaces of Gothic and Renaissance monuments and the incredible play of spatial compression and release… light and shadow… and I knew I wanted that in my life. I didn’t have the words to express it at the time, but Architecture eventually taught me how and now I get to share that passion through design.

Free Time

On weekends you can find me roaming the stalls of Eastern Market planning the evening’s dockside meal after a sailboat race on Lake St Clair.
