The Auburn

KDG served as the architect and designer for the project and provided FF&E procurement services. A mix of studio and one-bedroom apartments are arranged along double loaded corridors on the upper floors. The design includes meeting space for residents in the form of an industrial loft-styled commons which opens through two overhead doors to a terrace at the south end of the building. Residents also have access to a terrace on the northwest corner of the building which overlooks the street corner and dog park across the street. The ground floor has eleven bays that can provide separate tenant spaces or be combined to larger retail spaces as needed. The vitality of the development is easily apparent on sunny afternoons when the stores open their doors and shoppers stroll along the busy sidewalk.
