Drawn to Architecture and Design from a young age, Chantelle earned dual degrees in Architecture and Interior Architecture from Lawrence Technological University. With over 30 years of experience – primarily in retail and restaurant design – she became NCIDQ certified, was actively engaged with the IIDA Michigan Chapter, and mentored future designers at LTU.
Returning to her passion for Historic Preservation, Chantelle joined the KDG team to contribute to Detroit’s Renaissance and to broaden her portfolio. She thrives on guiding projects from concept to completion, always prioritizing thoughtful, user-centered design. Her work is grounded in attention to detail, adaptability, and a commitment to creating lasting, positive experiences. A lifelong learner, she looks forward to continued growth with the Kraemer Design Groups’ talented team.
Chantelle cannot imagine a world where she isn’t expressing her creativity and technical expertise or immersing herself in the design of the spaces in and around us – whether through architecture, interior design, story-telling, reading, music, puzzles, or nature.
Outside of work, you will find Chantelle snuggled in a blanket, nose-deep in a book with one of two cats or embarking on yet another home renovation project.
