Part of Intramode’s due diligence on this project was collecting cabinet samples from multiple vendors, some overseas, throughout the US, and some local to Michigan. Once the final cabinet samples were all presented, ownership selected a Michigan based company, Gilcrest to partner with in providing all the unit casegoods. When construction tolerances couldn’t be met, Gilcrest was a great local partner to work with in getting new pieces delivered to the site in a timely manner.
Procurement is always a collaborative effort with the design and construction team. In this project the construction manager, PCI Dailey managed the receiving and installation, but Intramode has managed those services for other projects. It can be a lengthy process that requires much attention to detail, but in the end, we are proud of the way this project came together at Piquette Flats.
